Printing on a Manila Tag

Printing on a manila tag

Recently I was trying to come up with a way to print on a manila tag.
I tried this technique which really worked well:

All you need is a tag, removable Scotch tap and a computer with a printer.

1. Open a word document and create your words or image
within the size perimeters of  your tag.
 Mine was  a #5 tag that measures 4 3/4 x 2 3/8" .
Keep in mind the placement of the printing on the tag,
For instance not too high and level.
2. Print out a sample page.
3. Hold that sample page up to a window to see where to place the tag
and center it on top of the page and secure with removable Scotch tape,
placing the tape along the top and the bottom of the tag, not interfering
with the printed area.
4. Run the tag taped to the paper through your printer in the same direction
it was printed.

And there you have a neatly printed tag ready to be embellished or used as is.
Of course I had to stamp on mine.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
