New Mini Journals Made from Collaged Gelli Prints and Stamps

This week I created a series of four mini journals from Gelli print papers and stamping (of course). I used several pieces of my first endeavor of Gelli plate printing. I built the collage on some upcycled pieces of light weight card board using gel medium. See the beginning of this process here and hereAfter I collaged these papers I added colors of gouache and some bits of washi tape and stamping...well lots of stamping actually. Here are what the outside of the journal covers looked like before binding.

Here are the inside of the journal covers, that I made in the same process.

I then bound these mini journals with a small signature of just four pages in each. Also I stamped inside the pages so each or most of the pages would have some imagery already added.
I bound with a simple pamphlet stitch.

I am so pleased with these little gems. Nothing like stamping and collage to create some charming little journals. I get to use up my gelli prints and have more journals to fill.

Back At It !

Well, okay it has been awhile since I have blogged, a month and a half to be exact, but I am back today to share some stamping projects I made with my new line of rubber stamps available in my esty shop.
Here are a set of Thank You cards. I do like the colors, the orange is Spiced Marmalade by Distressed Inks and the purple is Wild Plum by Adirondack, both by Ranger. The blue is a swath of turquoise gouache stamped with Broken China also by Distressed.

And here I have stamped some large envelopes that I use to ship the sheets of red rubber.

Argh!! I wish I knew what was going on with my font size here. Oh well at least I posted today so I am not going to worry about it.
Thanks for stopping by and I will be posting again very soon.
